In Home Euthanasia
We come to your home so your pet can rest in a favorite spot, surrounded by family. Here is what each visit includes and what it costs. Your only task is to be with your pet. We will handle the rest.
Services
We offer quality of life consultations by phone or Zoom, and in-home euthanasia across the Triangle and surrounding areas. Please call for travel fees to your location.
- Quality of Life Phone Consultation – $75: The phone consultation is a good way to start the conversation regarding end-of-life care. During this phone conversation we will discuss your pet’s condition and quality of life. Please note that we are not able to provide any diagnoses or treatment options with just a consultation.
- Quality of Life Zoom Virtual Consultation – $125: The virtual appointment is a good way to discuss similar aspects to the phone consultation regarding your pet’s health, but it also allows for the doctor to see your pet in their environment. This is important to show how able the pet is to move, stand up, and also to discuss body condition. This does not take the place of a physical exam, but enables more informed discussion. Please note that we are not able to provide any diagnoses or treatment options with just a consultation.
- In-Home Euthanasia – starting at $325: Includes a consultation by the veterinarian, sedation medication to ensure comfort, peaceful euthanasia, memorial clay paw impression, and lock of fur. Fees for extended travel may be applied. Call us for an estimate to your location.

- If your pet passed away at home – transport fee starting at $125: If your pet has passed away naturally, we can help with aftercare cremation arrangements. Additional travel fees may be applied based on location. Call us for an estimate to your location.
- Additional Fees:
- Evening and weekend visits may be available when arranged ahead of time, for an extra $50 to $100. We may not be available evenings and weekends, so if your pet has an emergency or takes a turn for the worse and you can’t reach us, please contact your nearest emergency clinic.
- There is an additional charge for pets over 100 lbs, and for pets who are very fearful or may bite. We will talk this through with you ahead of time.
Aftercare
If you wish to have your beloved pet cremated, we will take them with us and arrange for cremation services. Please rest assured that your pet’s remains will be handled with loving care. We have partnered with both Agape Pet Services and Companah Water Cremation Services, and are confident in their care of our deceased loved ones. There are two cremation options:
Communal Cremation: This is a service where your pet’s remains will be cremated with other pets, and no cremains will be returned.
Private Cremation: This is a service where your pet will be cremated individually, and their cremains will be returned to you in an urn. There is a selection of urns to choose from that are included in the cost of cremation. You also have the option of selecting a specialized urn and keepsakes (additional charges apply).
